God is Good!!!

I just finished an awesome week of God continually showing His goodness over and over again. Now that the school year is in full swing so are many of our ministries. Thursday night we had our first OSF (On-Campus Student Fellowship). It was amazing, God blessed us with a great turn out of over 100 people and about 91 students. Our focus was on talents and how we can use our talents to glorify God and the students response was incredible, please pray that these students might be able to use their gifts and abilities to serve God. Please also pray that students might remain commited to coming to OSF even though they will be getting busier and busier though out the year, pray that God might open their hearts and minds to who He is and what Jesus has done for them.

The next day we had FNBS and againt the turn out was amazing, 73 students. I think that might be more than anytime last year other than our Christmas celebration and other special events. We have struggled over the last year and half to have more than 5 senior high students at our FNBS but God blessed us with 13 students last week. Our junior high class had 27 students this week. Our them this week was God is Big and God certainly has shown himself to big, much bigger than any problem we could ever have. Please pray for God's continued blessing upon this ministry and the students who are coming.

God has also blessed Salvation Lutheran church with a deaconess, who will help out with our youth ministry and Saturday school program. Please pray especially for our saturday school program as our numbers have been down largely do to our lack of a Pastor. Please also pray for our congregation as a we seek a full-time Pastor!
